classic French lighting mazarin collection
The Mazarin Collection 1650-1800
The Mazarin Range reflects the masterly blending of decorative styles by one of the few figures in history that possessed both the power and the artistic ability to influence taste for their own and succeeding generations. Cardinal Mazarin, became First Minister during the reign of Louis XIV and used his position to pursue his love of the decorative arts. He is credited with the design of the magnificent chandeliers hanging in the Biblioteque Nationale in Paris. Our Mazarin range of fittings is based upon these originals and is the ideal choice to complement interiors based upon, or reflecting, the classic French styles of the period 1650-1800.
